A long and lacey nightgown with sweeping robe makes up this charming vintage peignoir set by Du Benay, circa late 40s.

The elegant two-piece lingerie set consists of a sleeveless negligee of a sandy colored rayon, with ruched bodice, lace shoulder straps and midriff, and decorative blue ribbon bow – while the matching robe has long sleeves with ruffled wrists, rched shoulders, and a blue satin ribbon closure at the waist.

*Please note that there is a very faint smudge on the lower front of the robe as shown. 

Otherwise, the peignoir set is in very good condition and has embroidered labels for “A Du Benay Design”, “Rayon” and size “36”.
